"What a joy to be in warm water and to share this wonderful and fluid form of bodywork. I have always felt at home submerged in water, but in aquatic bodywork I found the answer to a longing of an even deeper experience.”

Elisa’s first encounter with Watsu® was in 2007 and it instantly and literally swept her of her feet: The free flowing and nurturing movements allow for all tension to wash away, your mind to easily slip into a deeply meditative state, peeling away all layers of thought and physical patterns. You emerge reconnected to your pure self.

She feels blessed having embarked on this water journey with a variety of inspiring international teachers that have come to teach at Aquanat and the AIAB in Perth. In 2012 she graduated as a Watsu® Practitioner. Having also completed courses in other modalities such as Healing Dance® and Waterdance, she fell in love with the three dimensionality of underwater work. Alongside Watsu she received training in Shiatsu, Reflexology and completed a Bachelor Degree in Geography & French. Her passion has always been to take a supporting and healing role in life, in positions such as Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant and administration in a local community school.

Living with her young family in Denmark on the `beautiful south coast of Western Australia, Elisa spends her days swimming, doing Yoga and Qi Gong and exploring this gorgeous part of the world.

Elisa is currently offering sessions in Albany, Western Australia and planning to build a custom Watsu pool in Denmark in the near future.
