The Australian Institute of Aquatic Bodywork (AIAB) is a leading Australian organisation that provides high quality training in Aquatic Education and Aquatic Therapy and Bodywork.

The home of the AIAB is based in Perth, Western Australia.


The AIAB delivers courses of professional standards which form pathways to International Practitioner Certifications as recognised by the official modality organisations.

 
International certification in Aquatic Bodywork modalities through the AIAB currently include Watsu®, Healing Dance®, Waterdance, the Spa and Watsu Provider Programs, as well as the Halliwick Method.

Oceanic Bodywork Aqua (OBA) combines elements of soft stretching movements, massage and joint release underwater, as well as energy- and breathwork in a unique way above the surface and a deep relaxation on a physical and emotional level can happen.

The Aquanat Training Centre

The Australian Institute of Aquatic Bodywork's founder and trainer, Anat Juran, is available for those wishing to organise a course at a location or venue of their choice. Please contact us to discuss this option directly with her. 

All other courses, training, and workshops are held at the Aquanat centre in Alfred Cove (suburb of Perth), Western Australia which makes home for the Australian Institute of Aquatic Bodywork.


The centre has been specially designed to complement Aquatic Bodywork courses and therapy. 

The space is complete with a new program / hydrotherapy warm indoor pool which was created with good sources of natural airflow, ventilation and light, as well as a rigorous filtration system to ensure healthy water.

It features an intimate and cosy spa-like atmosphere with comfortable changing rooms, a relaxing outdoor lounge, a kitchenette, a beautiful therapy room, warm showers, and it's own parking.
